Daily Disposable Color Contacts Now Available-Ciba recently unveiled a new daily disposable lens in their Focus Daily lens material. The lens is currently available in powers for nearsightedness up to -6.00 in colorblends pure hazel, blue, green, and gray. This is a great option for someone who wants to wear a color only occasionally or likes to change their color often. Silicone Hydrogel Contact Lenses-This new type of soft lens material is creating a lot of excitement. Unlike the soft contact lens materials first introduced in the 1970's for daily wear, and then for extended wear in 1981, today's new contact lens materials allow anywhere from three to six times as much oxygen to enter the cornea.
